Peer-to-peer insurance

Peer-to-peer insurance
The objective:

Create an innovative means that will allow customers the ability to acquire and manage peer-to-peer insurance, the aim was to allow users to have control over their own insurance as well as the financial side of things.

The team:
2 UX designers
1 UX design lead
2 Researches
2 Project leads

The solution:

Research
-We conducted one on one and phone call interviews with the appropriate potential customers to understand their thoughts around the concept.
-We also conducted a competitor analysis to see what was being offered in the market.
Wire-framing
- Paper wires were created to visualise the concepts as well as to put the user flows to life.
- These wireframes and user flows were then transferred to design tools (Sketch and Axure)
Testing
One on one user testing was done using the suggested designs, the users then provided feedback around information architecture, design, as well as the language used and this feedback then helped us in refining the product to the user’s needs.
